The Madleen is a PR stunt designed to make Israel look bad and give @GretaThunberg and her friends another round of self-righteous headlines. Israel must stop the boat - allowing it into Gaza sets a dangerous precedent for future ships, some of which will try to smuggle weapons. But here’s the twist: Israel should let Greta go to Gaza. Tow the boat to Ashdod, put the activists on a bus, hand them a waiver saying they're entering a war zone under Hamas control at their own risk, and then drop them off inside Gaza. Let them spend time with the terror group they’re so eager to defend.
