We now have an explanation. It is now being reported that the 6 hostages found executed in August near Rafah were with Sinwar. It appears he had them executed and has been without hostages since. To be honest, I was skeptical (& still possible these reports are wrong) because he was known to travel with hostages as a security measure. I’m curious why he was without them and whether the IDF had been tracking him for a while waiting for the right opportunity.
