That applies to the genocide accusation btw. They don't accuse Israel of genocide because they believe Israel is committing one. After all, you don't use children and women as human shields or hide in hospitals, schools, and humanitarian zones if you think the people you are at war with are genocidal. That would make no sense. You only do it if you believe your opponent is trying to avoid killing civilians. They use the accusation for the explicit purpose of forcing Israel to defend itself from the charge. Same thing with the accusations that Israel killed many of its own citizens on 10/7, or that Israelis weren't raped, or mass graves, or organ harvesting etc. They know the truth about all these things. It's just about throwing out so many lies as to make others turn away and pretend like there is ambiguity in what happened to justify their support for evil.
