lol! I just remembered that Lai Ching-te’s grandson was born in the USA. Chiang Wan-An’s son was born in the USA, and TPP chairman Huang Guo Chang’s kid was also born in the USA. So it’s very possible that the 2028 Taiwanese presidential election would be between three candidates with let’s say American shoots. Taiwanese democracy is so fukked. Chinese interference you say? Taipei Mayor Chiang wan-an embroiled in à mini-scandal where his son got selected for a international student exchange program sponsored by…Taipei city govt. That already was a bad look, but then it comes out the boy has American citizenship so Taipei city would be paying for Taipei mayor’s American son to go to America to be an exchange student. Obviously once this came to light Chiang withdrew his son’s participation but ppl are still saying Chiang displayed bad judgement.
