Unfortunately, it’s starting to look like this “worst case scenario” might be the new reality. There’s more and more smoke surrounding this date, as Sanofi reps are now relaying to HCPs that distribution will begin on 9/21. For chain pharmacies with larger contracts, it’s still entirely possibly to see availability sooner, but it’s starting to look less likely. @sanofiUS @sanofi you are not a serious company, this is embarrassing. @Novavax why exactly did you feel the need to license your product to a company that can’t distribute the product any better than you did?

To add to this, if anyone truly needs a date to latch onto as proof, I’ve just heard from an independent provider that Sanofi themselves have scheduled a 9/22 Nuvaxovid arrival date with them. So I’m fairly confident in that being the absolute worst case scenario someone, as I would expect chain pharmacies to generally receive their shipments before smaller practices, if there’s to be any difference between the two.
